    Mr. I. W. Murchison died at his home in this city Friday night.  He had been in ill health for some time,
    having dropsy.  Funeral services were held at the residence Saturday afternoon at 3:30 o’clock, 
    conducted by Rev. S. F. Tenney of the Presbyterian church.  Interment in Glenwood cemetery followed.

    Mr. Murchison was well known in Houston and adjoining counties, having been at one time in business
    in this city, and had many friends who will regret to learn of his death.  He leaves a wife and three sons 
    to mourn his demise.
