Medwin Derrel Musick 
(June 17, 1928 - August 2, 2009) 

Funeral services for Medwin Derrel Musick 81, of Grapeland will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday at the 
First Baptist Church of Grapeland with Rev. Daniel Smith, Dr. Jack Shoultz, Jason and Ronnie Musick. 

Burial will follow in Parker Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral 
Home Chapel Grapeland. 

Mr. Musick passed away Sunday in Waco. He was born June 17, 1928 in Houston County, Tx. to 
James L. and Pearl Baker Musick. 

He was a lab tech for Amstar Co. 

Mr. Musick was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Ruth Bunyard and Alma Ellisor, seven 
brothers, Ruben, Joe Henry, Leondas, Charles, Marvin Lee, Nelton and Elton Musick. 

He is survived by his wife Dorothy Hughes Musick of Grapeland, daughter Deborah Deiterman and 
husband Steve of Waco, son David Musick and wife Denise of Happy, two sisters Verzona Dial and 
Carolyn Platt both of Crockett, eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. 

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Jason Musick, Ronnie Musick, Stacy Musick, Drew Musick, Troy 
Deiterman and Kevin Meador. 

Condolence calls will be 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home Chapel Grapeland.
