RICHARDSON-GRIGGS FAMILY GRAVES

Mrs. Frate Pickett, Historical Commission member, reports these graves of the Richardson and Griggs families which are buried on her land which is in one acre of the Enoch Richardson Survey.


"My Mother told me there were 18 graves with rock markers at one time," Mrs.Pickett said. "These are the names that I can verify:

GRIGGS

Mary Ann McComb; b: 1832, Pickens Co., Ala.; d: after 1880; (an aunt of my grandfather)

Thomas M.; b: 1828, Madison Co.,
Ala; d: died after 1870 (census); h/o Mary Ann

Alice Adelia (Richardson); w/oJames, d/o Enoch & Sarah (Banks) Richardson

James N.;  s/o Thomas & M. A.
Infant; b: ; d: 1882; d/o James & A. A.

Enoch Richardson and wife most probably are buried here too."
