OLD RANDOLPH GRAVES

Verified February 1985 for 3rd Edition of Cemetery Book by Wadell Harrison. On property now owned by Mr. J. M. Hodges, 12 Mi. E. of Crockett on Old Kennard-Crockett Rd. It was once a prospering Community of Randolph. So noted by Official Texas Historical Marker.
 

Mr. Hodges reports that there are 2, possibly 3 Unmarked graves on his property, formerly the Old Randolph Townsite. He was told the graves were for some of the female family members of the Thompsons'.

CARLTON, Mary (Warren):  b.  1828 Coffee Co., AL; d. 1858 Houston Co. TX; w/o Blake Carlton;

        d-n-law of Shadrack & Catherine Sloan Carlton; died after giving birth to her fourth child, a boy named

         Snider Miles Carlton b. 1-23-1858 Houston Co., TX.
