MOUNT VERNON CEMETERY

This cemetery is located about five miles North East of Ratcliff at the Mount Vernon church. A State Historical Marker is placed at the site. Henry Warren Payne and W. M. Conner gave this land for a church and cemetery in 187l.

Ydett Farris, John Smith, Hazel Smith and Dorothy Kelley surveyed the cemetery in the spring of 1985.
