MOUNT OLIVE CEMETERY

Boyd McKnight and Sletta Stubblefield gave the land for the cemetery which is just off FM-230 about one and half miles south of Lovelady. A sign marks the road that leads to the Mount Olive Church and the cemetery, just across from it.

Mrs. Cherry Phillips was the first to be buried there in 1966. There are 13 graves.

Ella Frances Dodd with assistance from Rosa Lee Minor surveyed cemetery for third publication.
