ELLIS SPRING CEMETERY

Located on the site of the Trinity Oil Field on the old Weldon-Trinity Road which is off FM·230, turning east after crossing Tantabogue Creek on first road to Prairie Point. Follow, bearing left, to a juncture of Prairie Point, Weldon and Trinity roads and a sign reading "Trinity Oil Field - 1 mile". Travel that road for two miles to a good gravel road with oil tanks on left. A quarter mile on left is the fenced cemetery. Mrs. Zula Ham and Ella Frances Dodd surveyed the cemetery for the 1978 edition; Mrs. Dodd, for the current publication.
